Located in the Catalan Pyrenees, the house makes use of the maximum volume and material palette allowed by the urban plan, resulting formally in a solid stone prism with large openings framed in black steel, offering views of the mountains. The interior space is organised around a staircase that connects the two floors, with the ground floor comprising an open-plan living area and the first floor containing four double bedrooms that share a central library. The use of natural materials reflects the resources available in the region and intentionally creates a warm atmosphere that promotes human comfort.
