Era Glaciale is a unique space integrating a modern Italian ice cream shop in a traditional Chinese building in a respectful manner towards the architectural heritage while creating a contemporary image. A custom made piece of furniture using a variable section for each area organizes the space open to the public and the kitchen. The facade is composed of sharp black metal mullions and glass pane windows meanwhile the old red columns and wooden doors are kept intact to remind the building origins.
